Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in several districts of Odisha till August 24, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.
The IMD has warned that heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20cm) is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, and Keonjhar till August 24.
Heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, and Khordha during the same period.
Similarly, heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20cm) is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, and Deogarh during the next 24 hours i.e till August 25.
Heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Keonjhar, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Bargarh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Nawarangpur, and Koraput during the same period.
