Bhubaneswar: The house of Ranju Nayak, who is a drug dealer and prime accused in the murder of Subrat Rao alias Chandu, was demolished on Saturday. Police demolished her house at Narayani Basti Narayani slum in Unit 8 area of the city.
She and her associate Kanha had been arrested earlier for the murder of Chandu. Ranju had a grudge against Chandu as he was opposing the illegal drug trade in the area. Chandu was allegedly hacked to death by the duo on September 9.
