Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershower at a few places of Odisha and has warned of thunderstorm with lightning or heavy rainfall at one or two places over several districts of Odisha during the next four days.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj today.
Similarly, over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, and Angul on September 27.
On September 28, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Boudh; and heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, and Koraput.
On September 29, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Mayurbhanj, and heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Rayagada, and Koraput.
