Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Odisha for the next two days under the influence of the low pressure area over Bay of Bengal, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.
The Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast now lies over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andhra Pradesh.
Under its influence, fairly widespread or widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Odisha during October 5 and 6.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, and Balasore today.
Similarly, over the districts Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, and Puri tomorrow.
