Koraput: Seventeen-year-old K Ramu of Visakhapatnam has embarked on a mission to spread awareness against pollution of water sources.
Ramu, who has cleared his 10th grade has resolved to tour all 28 States of the country riding a bicycle with the sole aim to spread the message “Do not pollute water sources”.
He began his bicycle journey from Visakhapatnam’s Purna Market on Thursday and reached Jeypore today pedalling via Vijaynagar and Salur despite heavy rain.
Ramu apart from his special bicycle is equipped with proper gear and equipment to keep him protected from adverse weather conditions and a high-end camera to capture special moments during his arduous journey. He has planned to complete his journey in four months.
