Cuttack: The selection committee of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) today announced the 17-member team for the Ranji Trophy tournament that starts on December 13 across multiple venues in the country.
OCA Chief Selector Prabhanjan Mallik said that the team is made up of experienced players. Four new players have been included in the team. The players have been trained by experienced coach Rashmi Ranjan Parida.
The Odisha team will first face Baroda team on December 13. The next match will be with Uttarkhand on December 20. Experienced player Subhranshu Senapati has been selected to captain the team. Rashmi Ranjan Parida has been appointed as the head coach.
