Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths on Thursday began simultaneous searches at the residence, office, and other premises of Nandi Kishore Nath, a junior clerk in the Executive Engineer’s office of the Rourkela Rural Works Division, and his family members following allegations of amassing disproportionate assets.
Odisha Vigilance comprising three DSPs, nine Inspectors, one SI, two ASIs, and others are conducting the searches on the basis of warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, at six places across the state.
The Vigilance sleuths are conducting searches at Nath’s residence – Flat No. 105 at Sai Krupa Enclave, Laxminagar in Bhubaneswar; Nath’s official residence at Rural Works Colony at Panposh in Rourkela; and the accused’s parental house at VSS Nagar in Bargarh town in Bargarh district.
Searches are also being carried out at Nath’s office in Executive Engineer’s office at the Rural Works Division in Rourkela; another house of Nath at Ainthapalli in Sambalpur and his relative’s residence in Sambalpur.
