Bhubaneswar: Keeping with the requirements of the Right to Education Act, the School & Mass Education (SME) Department like every other year has released the calendar for academic year 2023-24.
As per this year’s calendar, the time limit for school registration and correction of information has been fixed from January 20, 2023 to February 5, said an official press release.
According to the release, Block Education Officer (BEO) and District Education Officer (DEO) will visit the registered schools for inspection by February 10.
First phase students will be registered from February 13 to March 16. BEOs will scrutinize the applications by March 20.
The applications will be allotted among the schools through online lottery on March 23 and 24. In the first phase admission of students will be completed from March 27 to April 24.
Similarly, second phase registration will be completed between April 10 to 24. The applications will be scrutinized by April 26 and will be allotted to schools through online lottery on April 28.
Second phase admission will be completed between April 29 and May 6.
