Kamakshyanagar: Parjang police today rescued two kids at Damol village who were allegedly subjected to inhuman torture by their foster parents.
The rescued kids have been admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Parjang.
According to reports, a couple of Damol village under Parjang police limits of Dhenkanal district had allegedly tortured the two kids adopted it.
After beating them black and blue with bleeding injuries on their bodies, the couple had locked one them inside a toilet another inside a room.
Under instructions of Sub Collector Jyoti Shankar Sahu Parjang police rescued the kids and got them admitted to Parjang CHC.
Villagers of Damol had reportedly informed the Sub Collector about the kids being tortured by their foster parents and had sought his intervention.
