Bhubaneswar: The age limit eligibility for admission to Class I for the current academic session has been fixed as 5-7 years as on March 31, said an official press release.

However, in the case of differently-abled, the upper age limit has been fixed at 9 years.

The Directorate of Primary Education once again issued a clarification in this regard on Wednesday to clear the confusion at the district and block levels among teachers which had led to confusion among the guardians interested in the admission of their wards in Class I.

The School & Mass Education Department issued a notification in this connection on April 4, 2022.
