Mercury Jumps Above 40°C In 3 Stations In Odisha, Jharsuguda Hottest

Bhubaneswar: Heat wave conditions prevailed in Odisha with maximum temperatures in three stations shooting beyond 40° Centigrade.

Jharsuguda remained the hottest place of the State by recording 40.8°C followed by Sambalpur  40.6°C, Bhubaneswar at 40.4°C, Hirakud 39.2°C, Chandbali 38.4°C, Balasore 37.4°C, Keonjhar 37.4°C, Puri 34.2°C, Gopalpur 33.8°C and Paradip 32.2°C by 2.30 PM today said the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD’s) Meteorological Centre here.
