Bhubaneswar: AIIMS Bhubaneswar (Khordha) on Friday topped the list of ABHA token generation (1,131) under the leadership of Prof Asutosh Biswas, ED, Prof Dillip Parida, MS, and Prof MK Mohanty, Chairman, IT cell.
Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) is in the direction of making health facilities paperless and hassle-free. ABHA token is generated by submitting patient details once in a lifetime which is stored in a central server.
The patient subsequently can avail of health benefits anywhere in the country by accessing the ABHA app. This is a Government of India initiative toward the Digital Health Mission. To date, AIIMS Bhubaneswar has generated 31,400 ABHA tokens.
