Boudh: Eleven people sustained varied degrees of injuries after a bus collided head-on with a pickup van on Wednesday morning on National Highway-57 near the Charichaka tehsil office in Odisha’s Boudh district.
The injured have been admitted to the Purunakatak community health center.
According to reports, the passenger bus carrying over 40 people collided head-on with a pickup van coming from the opposite direction. Over 10 people were injured in the accident. The other passengers had a narrow escape.
Later they were sent to their respective destinations by another vehicle. Purunakatack police reached the spot and started an investigation into the accident.
