Rayagada: Four wagons of a freight train derailed near Ambadola in Rayagada district today afternoon.
According to reports, the derailment occurred on the special rail track connecting Ambadola railway station with Vedanta’s Lanjigarh facility in Kalahandi district.
Since the derailment took place on the special track, rail traffic movement remained unaffected.
Following the derailment, departmental officials rushed to the spot to supervise restoration work.
