Flood Waters Enter Sanctum Sanctorum Of Maa Bhattarika Temple, Deity Shifted

Cuttack: This season’s first flood waters of river Mahanadi entered the sanctum sanctorum of Maa Bhattarika temple in Badamba in Cuttack district today.

Following the entry of flood waters into the sanctum sanctorum of the temple the idol of Maa Bhattarika, the presiding deity of Badamba has been shifted to the temporary shelter at Ratnagiri hill.

The Endowment department and the temple servitors have made all arrangements for the worship and other rituals of the deity at the temporary shelter.
