Bhubaneswar: The body of a minor girl was found from a well in Umerkote on Friday morning. According to reports, the deceased was identified as a girl from Khutugaon under Raighar police limits.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the girl was killed and thrown into the well. On the basis of a complaint filed by the family of the victim, an FIR has been registered and investigation has started, the police said.
