Prophet Muhammad Birthday: Odisha Declares Holiday On Sept 28

Bhubaneswar: In a partial modification of the order dated September 1, 2022, the Odisha government has declared a holiday on September 28 (Thursday) instead of September 29 on account of “Birthday of Prophet Muhammad, a release issued by the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Odisha, today said.

All offices of the state government and the Revenue, as well as Magisterial Courts (Executive), will remain closed on September 28, it added.
