Bhadrak: In a tragic incident, a primary school student died after the information panel of the Government Primary School at Uchhapada village in Gadiali panchayat under Dhamnagar block in Bhadrak district fell on him.
The deceased student has been identified as six-year-old Soubhagya Nayak. He was studying in Class I.
According to reports, following the incident, Soubhagya was rushed to the Primary Health Centre at Asurali.
As his condition was critical he was referred to the district headquarters hospital here. However, despite the best efforts by the doctors at the hospital to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
