Nuapada: In a tragic incident, four people were killed and three others sustained grievous injuries after two motorbikes collided head-on near Rajpur village under Boden police limits in Odisha’s Nuapada district late Tuesday night.
Two of the deceased are from Kamalamaal village, one from Bhimapadar village, and the fourth from Bhainushadarah village in the district.
According to reports, the accident occurred when the victims were returning from a cultural programme organised by a Durga Puja committee in the region on Tuesday. Four people from Sinapali Adu were riding on one motorbike while three riding another bike from Boden towards Sinapali. A head-on collision took place between the two bikes near Rajpur village on the Biju Expressway. Four bike riders were killed on the spot. The three critically injured have been admitted to medical centers in Boden and Nuapada.
