Woman Detained For Torturing Step Children In Athgarh

Cuttack: Athgarh police have detained a woman for allegedly torturing her step children.

The woman’s step children-a 13-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter have been admitted to the Sub Divisional Hospital at Athgarh in a critical condition.

The accused woman has been identified as Puspalata Nanda.

The minor children were rescued by their neighbours and admitted to the Sub Divisional Hospital at Athgarh.

On being informed Athgarh police has detained Puspalata and she is being questioned.
