Soro: In its crackdown on illegal manufacture and storage of firecrackers, Soro police on Saturday seized firecrackers worth over Rs 5 lakh during a raid in a shop at Soro Machha haat in Balasore district. IIC Soro and other police officials took part in the two-hour long raid.
In a separate incident, Oupada police arrested one person from Badapokhari village for alleged illegal manufacture of firecrackers in his house.
