Police Commissioner S Dev Dutta Singh To Go On Central Deputation

Bhubaneswar: Twin City Police Commissioner S Dev Dutta Singh has been empanelled by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for holding Additional Director General (ADG) or equivalent posts at the Centre.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared the empanelment of 30 IPS officers from various state cadres for senior central roles. Singh, a 1998-batch IPS officer, stands out as the sole representative from the Odisha cadre in this list,

A seasoned officer with a distinguished career, Singh assumed charge as Twin City Police Commissioner on September 29, 2024, following a major reshuffle in the Odisha Police. Prior to this, he served as Additional Director General of Police (Operations) in Bhubaneswar.

His tenure in the Twin Cities has focused on strengthening law and order, community policing, and responsive administration in Odisha’s urban hub.
