Baripada: In a tragic incident, a tractor driver was killed after the one he was driving fell into a ditch and overturned in Pathuri under Bangiriposi police limits in the Mayurbhanj district on Thursday.
The deceased tractor driver has been identified as Rabin Behera(35) of Pathuri village.
According to reports, the tractor Rabin was driving fell into a ditch and overturned. Rabin was crushed under the tractor. Locals rushed him to the Community Health Centre at Bangiriposi. However, he was declared dead by the attending doctors at the health facility.
Bangiriposi police have launched an investigation into the tragic incident.
