Bhubaneswar: The driver of a car was killed while two others traveling in the same vehicle sustained critical injuries after the vehicle hit a divider before colliding with a stationary bus at Chandrasekharpur in Bhubaneswar in the wee hours of Sunday.
The speeding car coming towards Jaydev Vihar first rammed into a divider and went on to collide with a stationary bus on the side of the road near Chandrashekharpur filling station.
The car driver died on the spot while the injured were rescued and admitted to Capital Hospital. The car was completely damaged in the accident. Chandrashekharpur police seized the car and launched an investigation.
The body of the driver has been seized for post-mortem. All the injured have been admitted to Capital Hospital in critical condition.
