CM Naveen Mourns Freedom Fighter Mangobindo Mallick’s Demise

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday expressed deep grief over the demise of prominent freedom fighter Mangobind Mallick.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said that Mallick, a native of the Derabish region in Kendrapada district, participated in the country’s freedom struggle and was imprisoned several times. Inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, Mallik always engaged in creative work. He also had a special reputation as a prominent social worker in Kendrapara district.

The Chief Minister also expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
