Bhubaneswar: At least 30 people were injured, many of them critically, after the bus they were travelling by overturned at Taptapani Ghati in Odisha’s Gajapati district on Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, around 60 people from Jajpur in Odisha had gone to Jirang and Khasada tourist spots for a picnic. On their return journey, the driver of the bus lost control of the wheel, and the vehicles overturned.
Police and the local residents rescued the picnickers and rushed them to Digapahandi Hospital. According to police, at least 30 picnickers, including women and children, were injured in the accident.
