Bhubaneswar: A class VII student was found hanging inside his hostel room in Chend in Rourkela.
The boy identified as Krishna Kujur, a resident of Gurundia block was found in a hanging position in his room at Anewsa’Hostel.
He was studying in a private school in Rourkela. He didn’t go to school today.
The incident came to light around 2 pm. he was found hanging from the ceiling fan. Police reached the hostel and seized the body. The investigation of the incident has started.
The cause of Krishna’s death remains unclear. The reason will be confirmed after the post-mortem.
The family members of the deceased minor could not be contacted. However, it is said that there was no pressure on him from family or school. The police are investigating the case from all aspects.
