Balasore: A minor boy was critically injured on Wednesday after manza string of a kite got entangled in his neck while he was travelling with his father on a bike near Naharpatna village under Balasore Sadar police limits.
The profusely bleeding child was rushed to the district headquarters hospital here, however, he was shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack as his health condition deteriorated.
According to reports, the father-son duo had gone to a relative’s house to attend a feast. While they were returning home, manza string of kite got entangled in the neck of the child near Naharpatna village resulting in a deep profusely bleeding wound. The child was rushed to the district headquarters hospital here and was later shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack as his condition deteriorated.
The child’s condition is stated to be critical.
