Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials on Friday apprehended Head Master of Govt SSD High School, Adhamunda under Kesinga Block in Kalahandi district, Agasti Sahu while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a contractor.
According to an official press release, the accused Head Master had demanded the bribe to pass the contractor’s bill amounting to Rs 22, 53,858 towards repairing/renovation work of the school.
the entire tainted bribe money has been recovered and seized from the possession of the accused.
Following the trap, Vigilance officials have launched search at one location of the accused from disproportionate assets (DA) angle.
