Bhubaneswar: Finance Minister Vikram Keshari Arukha is scheduled to present the Interim Budget for the 2024-25 fiscal in the Odisha Assembly at 5.00 pm on Thursday. The full Budget for the fiscal will be presented by the new government after the Assembly elections scheduled later this year.
This is the last Assembly session before the general elections.
Before the presentation of the Budget, the day’s business in the Assembly includes question time for Water Resources, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development and Minorities Department, Labour and Employees, National Insurance, Sports and Youth Welfare, Planning and Coordination, Commerce, Electronic Information and Technology Law and Transport Departments.
In addition, reports of various departments of the Odisha government will be presented in the House today.
