2 Killed As Bus Hits Scooty In Ganjam

Berhampur:  In a tragic incident, a scooty rider and pillion rider died while a speeding bus collided with the scooty near College under Kotinada police station in Ganjam district on Sunday morning.

The accident happened today at around 4:30 am.

The two deceased have been identified as Kunal Sahoo and K Rakesh of Goshani Nuagaan in the same district.

The bus was traveling from Asika to Bhubaneswar when it hit the scooter coming from the opposite direction. Two riders died on the spot.

The front part of the bus was damaged while the scooter was crushed. However, passengers in the bus are safe.

Kotinada police have seized two dead bodies and sent them to Asika sub-divisional hospital for autopsy.

Police launched an investigation.
