Titlagarh: Two days after the escape of two under-trials prisoners (UTP) from Titlagarh jail, the DIG of Prisons, Sambalpur on Tuesday suspended Titilagarh Jail warden D. Dora on charges of dereliction of duty.
DIG visited the jail on Monday to probe the matter. During his investigation, the DIG found out that the under-trials escaped after climbing wall no-4 with the help of a ladder. Besides, he found the CCTV footage of the camera installed there missing.
The murder accused managed to escape because of sheer negligence on the part of jail warden.

Though the incident took place on Saturday night, police are yet to nab the absconding under-trial prisoners.
