Bhubaneswar: The regular service of Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Vande Bharat Express has commenced from Sunday in Odisha.
The train will run daily except Monday, according to East Coast Railway statement.
As per the East Coast Railway statement, the train left Bhubaneswar at 5.15 am while it will depart from Visakhapatnam at 3.30 pm.
The medium-distance superfast express train will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Berhampur, Ichhapuram, Srikakulam Road, and Vizianagaram on the Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam route .
Notably, the third Vande Bharat Express for Odisha was virtually flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 12.
In May last year, the first Vande Bharat train started operations between Puri and Howrah and the second train connecting Puri to Rourkela was launched in September last year.
