Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal today said that list of party candidates will be out soon for Odisha as the BJP has already released the third phase list of candidates.
No candidates from Odisha found place in any of the three lists published earlier by the party’s central committee. Media reports said that Manmohan camped in Delhi and held marathon meetings with the central leaders regarding probable candidates for Lok Sabha. He is also stated to have discussed the alliance matter with the party top brass.
“Union Minister Amit Shah had already clarified on the alliance matter. We will be apprised whatever the party will decide in due time,” Samal told reporters soon after landing in Bhubaneswar from the national Capital.
Responding to reporters’ query regarding the list of candidates of Odisha, he said “ it will be released soon”.
When media persons wanted to know more about the status of alliance talk, the state BJP chief didn’t open up and ignored the media.
Earlier, Union Minister Amit Shah said on Wednesday while taking part in a media conclave that his party is yet to take a final decision on the alliance matter even as the negotiation is underway. Party national president JP Nadda will take a final decision on it, he had said.
