Bhubaneswar: Three new guests have arrived at the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar. Asiatic lioness Rewa has given birth to three cubs from her first litter Jeet.
The number of lions has now increased to 24. They have been kept in the feeding chamber of the veterinary hospital. While both the mother and the cub are healthy, the lioness is being monitored on CCTV cameras as she was not looking after her cubs, said Deputy Director of Nandankanan Zoological Park Sanath Kumar.
