Dhenkanal: A private helicopter carrying five persons made an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi ground in Mahisapat locality of Dhenkanal.
The helicopter which was on its way to Bhubaneswar from Barbil made an emergency landing at 6.15 AM in Dhenkanal as bad weather condition prevented it from landing in Bhubaneswar.
“The private helicopter which was going to Bhubaneswar from Barbil made an emergency landing here at 6.15 AM as it could not land at Bhubaneswar due to bad weather. There were five persons in the copter. Two of them Prabhakaran and Deepankar Roychoudhary were to catch a flight to Mumbai from Bhubaneswar. They have left by road. The other three passengers are here. We are inquiring into the matter,” informed Shivaji Sethi, Flying Squad Magistrate.
