Rs 7.5 Lakh Unaccounted Cash Seized From Vehicle In Odisha’s Bargarh, One Detained

Bhubaneswar: The Bargarh police seized Rs 7.5 lakh unaccounted money from a vehicle during line checking on Thursday.

According to reports, while the cops were conducting a line checking at Bargarh Sohela Luhurachti Naka post on Thursday a Tata Sumo was stopped and the FST team undertook a vigorous checking of the vehicle. During the checking, Rs 7.5 lakh was discovered hidden in a bag.

As the person was unable to offer a satisfactory answer as to where this money came from and where it was going the police confiscated the entire money and detained the driver for interrogation.

A few days back, the police seized Rs 16 lakh unaccounted cash in Bargarh.
