Bhubaneswar: The State government today transferred Commission cum secretary of Mission Shakti Department Sujata Rout Karthikeyan, a 2000 batch IAS officer, and was posted as Special Secretary of Finance Department.
Sujata Rout Karthikeyan was also shifted from Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department as Commissioner-cum-Secretary.
Health & Family Welfare Department secretary Shalini Pandit was given the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Department of Mission Shakti and Commissioner-Cum-Secretary of Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department.
“The additional appointment of Sujata Rout Karthikeyan, IAS as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department shall stand terminated from the date Shalini Pandit, IAS takes over,” a notification issued by the General Administration department stated.
The Election Commission of India on Friday ordered the transfer of Sujata Karthikeyan to a non-public dealing department after BJP petitioned against her accusing her of misusing government position.
