Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a tractor driver lost his life after ramming into a house located in Dayavihar village, Kanas, Puri, on Wednesday late night.
The deceased driver is identified as one Bimbadhar Mahapatra of Gadasahi village, coming under Kanas police station limits, lost control of his vehicle crashing into a house located in Dayavihar.
As per reports, Bimbadhar was returning to his home on Wednesday night when he rammed into the house of one Banambar Mahapatra after hitting a shop.
In the incident, no family members of Banambar were injured.
Kanas police have recovered the dead body of Bimbadhar from the accident site and sent it to Puri for postmortem.
The police officials have started the investigation and seized the accidental tractor.
