IMD Warns Of Heat Wave Conditions In Western Odisha On May 29 & 30

Bhubaneswar: As per IMD’s forecast, heat wave conditions are very likely to prevail over the following districts for the mentioned dates:

29th May 2024: Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Bolangir, and Nuapada.

30th May 2024: Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Bolangir, and Nuapada.

Similarly, Hot & humid weather conditions are very likely over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Khordha, Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam & Gajapati for the next two days.

In view of this, the District Collectors are advised to ensure all precautionary measures to face eventuality, if any.
