Bhubaneswar: The dead body of a youth was recovered from a drain in Bharatpur area in Bhubaneswar.
People found the body of the youth lying in the drain on Sunday morning and informed the police. Bharatpur police reached the spot, and seized the body before sending it to Capital Hospital for autopsy.
However, the age of the deceased is believed to be between 30 and 35 years. It is suspected that someone threw the body into the drain after killing him.
The identity of the deceased and the reason of death remain unclear.
Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of the youth.
