2 Killed, Another Critical After Coconut Tree Falls On Them In Nimapara

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, two youths died while another sustained critical injuries after a coconut tree fell on them at Chitra village under Nimapara police station in Puri district.

Three youths identified as Tushar Ranjan Biswal, Mitu Pradhan and Biswa Ranjan Acharya were riding a scooter while the tree fell on them.

The incident took place at around 9 AM on Sunday. All of them are the residents of Ratila village near Nimapada.

The three youths were going to their village from Ankusapur on a canal bund when the accident occurred. Tushar and Mitu died on the spot while Biswaranjan was shifted to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar in a critical condition.

The incident sent shock waves among locals in the region.
