Bhubaneswar: Armed miscreants allegedly looted Rs 1 lakh and a laptop from the owner of a Jan Seva Kendra under Sabaranga police limits in Bhadrak district late Thursday night.
As per reports, Jan Seva Kendra owner Omm Prakash Sahu was on his way home after downing the shutter of his shop when four bike-borne miscreants waylaid him on Chakapur Road. They asked him to give them cash and all his belongings including his laptop.
As Omm denied, the bike-borne miscreants threatened him at gunpoint. The miscreants reportedly looted a laptop and Rs 1 lakh from Omm and decamped.
