Bhubaneswar: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth darshan of devotees on the occasion of Snan Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings , Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra on Saturday.
The temple administration has announced the ritual fixtures. The Pahandi Bije will be performed between 4 am and 6 am followed by the Jala Niti, puja and Snana ritual between 11.20 AM and 12.45 PM. The Hati Besha ritual will begin from 2.40 PM. The devotees can catch a glimpse of the divine appearance of the Holy Trinity from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
The administration has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth darshan of devotees.
Keeping in mind the heavy rush, the SJTA has decided to allow devotees to enter the temple through Singhadwar and exit through three other doors.
Devotees coming from Bada Danda and different lanes can enter the barricade from Market chhak. They have to undergo a check by a metal detector at Dola Bedi before entering the temple.
Those who will come out of the shrine via North door can go to the Bada Danda at their own convenience.
The ticket holders can stand in a queue in the south door to have a glimpse of Pahandi Bije ritual. The entry will be restricted in south doors after the completion of Pahandi Bije rituals.
The Snan Yatra of Puri deities is a sacred bathing event of the lords. The deities take holy baths with 108 pitchers of aromatic water.
