Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department’s regional centre has forecast moderate rain with thundershowers, along with one or two spells of intense to heavy rain, likely to occur in some regions of Dhenkanal, Angul, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Boudh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Bargarh, and Cuttack districts within the next three hours, according to its nowcast report.
The weather office has also issued warnings against waterlogging in low-lying areas, occasional poor visibility, and traffic disruption in urban areas.
The weather department has requested people to avoid movement in waterlogged areas and ensure proper drainage arrangements in case of excess water.
Residents of these districts are advised to monitor weather developments before moving out.
