CM's Grievance Cell

Bhubaneswar: As the first session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly is underway, the hearing of grievances at the Odisha Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell will not be held on July 27.

The General Administration and Public Grievance Department has issued a notification about the same.

It is pertinent to mention that Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi revived public grievance hearings on July 1 after a hiatus of 16 years. Charan Majhi personally listened to the grievances of people, issuing necessary instructions to officials concerned.

More than 5,000 people visited the grievance cell, and 1,540 grievances were registered during the day, according to a statement released by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
