Bhubaneswar: The State government has dissolved all Special Development Councils (SDC) in the State. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the dissolution of all 23 special development councils.
The government decision brought to an end the functioning of all such councils in the state.
The Naveen Patnaik-led government formed special development councils (SDCs) for nine tribal-dominated districts to promote tribal culture, tradition, heritage and unique identity.
