Bhubaneswar: Three students sustained injuries as the school auto-rickshaw they were travelling was being hit by a truck near Halipali on National Highway-55 in Sambalpur, on Saturday.
According to sources, the accident occurred when a truck collided with an auto-rickshaw carrying students to school. The mishap led the auto-rickshaw to lose balance and overturn. The truck driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind, while the injured students were promptly rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Upon being informed, police seized the truck and began an investigation into it.
