Odisha To Host State’s Flagship Global Investors’ Summit ‘Utkarsh Odisha’ In January 2025

Bhubaneswar: The Mohan Majhi government will host the state’s flagship global investors’ summit Utkarsh Odisha, the renamed version of ‘Make in Odisha Conclave’, in Bhubaneswar on January 28-29, 2025.

Prior to the investment summit, a delegation led by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will host an interactive session in New Delhi on October 3.

“Odisha will be the growth engine of the development journey of the country in the next 25 years’ is the theme for the 2025 conclave on the lines of Prime Minister of India’s vision for the state, which aspires to attract domestic and foreign investments and contribute further towards the agenda of Atmanirbhar Bharat,” an invite sent by the Principal Secretary, Industries, Hemant Sharma, read.

Hemant Sharma further stated in the invite that as the Union and state governments are now strategically aligned, Odisha presents a uniquely favourable environment for Central PSUs looking to grow and expand in the state. Odisha is dedicated to facilitating growth through advantageous policies and robust support mechanisms, particularly in sectors critical to national interests,” he added.

Utkarsh Odisha is the fourth edition of the state’s flagship global investors’ summit.
