Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Industries Minister Sampad Swain have joined the investor meet in Mumbai. The CM called on several prominent industrialists including JSW chief Sajjan Jindal, Vedanta chairman Anil Agarwal and Reliance Solar Energy Director Anant Ambani and discussed various issues.
After meeting industrialist in Mumbai, the Chief Minister wrote on X that the State government will provide all support to the JSW for the successful implementation of EV, lithium-ion battery and 32 MTPA steel projects in Odisha. As a result, Odisha will be considered a leading state in the field of steel and EV.
After meeting Anil Agarwal, the Chief Minister wrote, “I met Anil Agarwal, chairman of Vedanta Group in Mumbai and discussed in detail the expansion and investment of Vedanta Aluminum in the State. The ‘Utkarsh Odisha Conference’ will be organized in the State very soon. All facilities will be provided with special incentives for investment. Odisha having enormous potential is the focal point of ‘Purvodaya’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Majhi also met Reliance Solar Energy Director Anant Ambani in Mumbai and invited him to Utkarsh Odisha conference to be held next year.
The CM stated special focus will be given to investment in the country, especially in the development of sectors like green fuel, communication, mobile network, solar energy. For this, all facilities will be provided by the government. This will ensure the financial development of Odisha and fulfil the goal of ‘Developed Odisha’, CM stated on ‘X’.
